Set of 6 Markers.
This tall "iron" gate enhances the game in style by capturing the mythos theme, while securely holding either an original gate tokens that come with the game- or the new Elder Sign "sealed gate" translusent blue tokens from LITKO. By holding the gate upright, players can clearly see at a glance how many active and/or sealed gates are on the board.
Gamers that have selected the Iron Gate Markers have also purchased the accompanying LITKO Elder Sign tokens. These tokens are the same size as the original gate tokens- so players can easily see how many gates are sealed at a glance.
Note: This product does require gluing the two upright pieces to the base. You need a minimal amount of hobby cement glue. We recommend either Craftics #33, available through LITKO, or Testors glue which is available at most hobby stores.

A very nice enhancement for our Arkham games. These gates also combine very well with the tentacles gates. Expensive but worthy items.

Style-wise, these do look pretty good and certainly go well with the blue Litko gate seals. The culturally ambiguous frame does evoke a passage to another other-worldly plane.
The gluing requires some patience as you will want the two upright pieces to as close to vertical as possible to look nice. A gel-type glue is probably best here.
I think the most frustrating thing is that these do not come in sets of 8 which would be the maximum you would need for AH. As others have noted, the set of 6 isn't exactly cheap.

I have less of a problem with price than with just useability. I have to glue these things together? WHY? And when I realized that glue would be required, I held up the two upright portions and I still don't see how these things are supposed to work. This is a seriously deficient product that could be so cool if it 1) snapped together and b) held a gate marker reliably (instead of the marker just leaning carefully). This is the first product from litko I have ordered and it really has set such low expectations that the bar is going to be very high for me to order another litko product.

Have to agree with Terry's review.
So far as assembly, I found that it was best to hold each of the two upright pieces to the base, separately, until the glue set. This was somewhat time intensive.
My principal issue is with the price. Yes they are nice, however I do not see that they are $4+ per gate nice. It is my belief that if you have a bit of creativity you can create much more interesting, individual- eldritch, gates. Make it a craft portion of game night.
My thoughts are the same for the Tentacle Gate Markers.
Took Litko 3 weeks to ship my order, and they did not respond to enquiries about its status.

These pretty much appear as the image above, so no discrepancy there. These gate markers came in a small bag of eighteen plastic pieces which must be glued together. Gluing was tricky; the "gate" portion of the marker is not so easy to glue to the base (it tends to flop back and forth, so if you're going to glue them together use a powerful glue which fills in gaps). The holes on the base are very loose and the gate doesn't fit very snugly into the holes. The plastic is also very brittle; one dropped on the ground during the protracted gluing process and shattered into three pieces. Sorry, $24.95 is a pretty steep price when you have to assemble and glue the items together yourself.
